Position Overview:

Our rapidly expanding technology firm is looking for a Senior Real Estate Accountant to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the accounting operations of our property portfolio, ensuring precise and timely financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with our property management team to guarantee that all financial information is accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations for our property portfolio, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management, including variance analysis and budget comparisons.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure accurate financial data recording and reporting.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in property accounting.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
