Job Summary:

As a Real Estate Infrastructure Program Manager at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a critical role in coordinating and monitoring the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of our Sustainability Programs. You will prepare and submit Sustainability projects for consideration, ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules, and develop solutions to program problems. Your expertise will be essential in directing work for project completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also act as an advisor to the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations, managing $300 million of programs across the entire CommonSpirit system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and control functions and activities of infrastructure projects.
  • Review and evaluate existing projects included in the Infrastructure Program.
  • Monitor the flow and quality of work to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility standards and regulations.
  • Prepare bid documents, specifications, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and savings in energy for infrastructure projects. Review these with Division Directors.
  • Prepare and maintain project records and reports, including project entry into Projecto.
  • Ensure code compliance with TJC, State Health Departments, NFPA, EPA, DEP, ADA, and local building codes and all other authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor infrastructure project schedules.
  • Prepare, review, evaluate, and recommend approval of infrastructure project plans.
  • Support Division Directors on annual Infrastructure Program project priority list preparation.
  • Interview project contractors to receive and analyze bids, including analysis of any project proposed changes.
  • Submit bids, cost estimates, schedules, phasing plans, budgets, reports, and recommendations to the Division Directors.
  • Serve as a liaison with contractors, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, hospital facilities staff, material and equipment suppliers, and other parties as required.
  • Oversee day-to-day infrastructure project activities and maintain all appropriate project logs and reports. Review and approve all payment applications and change orders. Maintain appropriate infection control practices/standards and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) during project activities. Ensure the proper commissioning of all new and renovated building systems.
  • Negotiate with contract vendors for preferred agreements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Engineering Related field of study required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare or real estate planning, or related field required. Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Understands and uses Projecto or similar project management software applications. Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices, and procedures, applicable laws and government regulations, principles of management and supervision, and procedures and policies of departments and facilities. Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated detailed instructions in writing and verbally. Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations. Ability to multitask and establish priorities. Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership. Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures. Ability to use working knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
