Senior Controller Role

As a seasoned Senior Controller, you will be responsible for leading our Accounting, Legal, IT, Risk Management, and Aviation divisions. This role plays a pivotal part in our company's leadership team and involves collaboration with our Real Estate and Capital Market teams to deliver insightful performance, reporting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Shape the strategic direction and planning within key divisions
Collaborate with Real Estate and Capital Market teams to deliver performance and reporting
Lead a high-performing team to achieve excellence in all areas

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (master's degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Active CPA license highly desirable
Profound knowledge of accounting and tax practices
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of current accounting principles and tax rules and regulations
Understanding of internal controls necessary to ensure safety of company assets and business entities
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains preferred
Ability to explain complex financial matters in a clear and understandable fashion
Comprehensive financial planning experience, including budget reviews and financial planning and analysis
Works effectively with minimal direction, self-starter

Education & Training:
Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Prior tax experience highly preferred

Active CPA license strongly preferred. Prior Real Estate experience preferred.

Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years accounting and financial management experience; 5-7 years in a senior level position
