Position Overview:

The Nursing and Allied Health Simulation Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing student performance through effective management of tutoring and skill enhancement programs. This position may involve instructing various courses within the designated field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Allied Health to develop and implement educational programs.
  • Deliver services aimed at improving student proficiency in assigned subjects.
  • Provide training and support for staff development.
  • Design alternative curricular approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct research to inform best practices in simulation and education.

Essential Duties:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the incumbent will be expected to:
  • Attend and participate in institutional events and meetings.
  • Serve on various committees and task forces as required.
  • Engage in professional development activities.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least one year of related experience, including supervisory roles. A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary competencies for this position will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and skills in:
  • Assessment methods for academic and skill development.
  • Curriculum design and evaluation.
  • Understanding of learning disabilities and diverse educational needs.
  • Adult education methodologies.

  • A current, unrestricted R.N. license.
  • At least two years of full-time clinical practice experience.
