Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Fellow to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a Technical Fellow, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced radar systems and technologies, working closely with our Chief Engineers to provide recommendations on technical investments and investments plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, radar systems, and technical leadership, with experience in developing user-friendly, object-oriented, GUI-based simulations and tools for array front-end hardware, signal processing, and system thread-based simulation.

You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding lesser-experienced radar system engineers, collaborating with external customers, and developing highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of advanced radar systems and technologies
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineers to provide recommendations on technical investments and investments plans
  • Mentor and guide lesser-experienced radar system engineers
  • Develop user-friendly, object-oriented, GUI-based simulations and tools for array front-end hardware, signal processing, and system thread-based simulation
  • Collaborate with external customers to develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in related Systems Engineering or Multi-Disciplined Engineering
  • Experience in proposal, new business, and capture experience that demonstrates ability to grow the business using technical expertise
  • Experience developing user-friendly, object-oriented, GUI-based simulations and tools for array front-end hardware, signal processing, and system thread-based simulation
  • Experience leading a team of engineers to develop, integrate, test, and deploy radar algorithms, proven through successful flight tests and real-world operations
  • Existing DOD Secret Level clearance or higher
