About the Team:

The Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is at the forefront of developing advanced Land and Air Defense Systems. We pride ourselves on cultivating a team of systems engineers who excel in creating technical solutions for intricate defense challenges. Our focus areas include Radar Systems, Sensor Integration, Effector Systems, and Command and Control technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to align on design specifications and requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with program requirements and design.
  • Design and refine modeling tools that incorporate Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for intricate time-domain analyses.
  • Implement radar system methodologies to simulate detection, discrimination, tracking, and signal processing functionalities.
  • Model effector system principles, including guidance and fuzing mechanisms, to evaluate their operational performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience. Candidates without a degree must have 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in complex Digital Signal Processing, with a proven ability to develop intricate time-domain signal models.
  • Experience in creating and coding system models, algorithms, and analytical tools for radar performance evaluation.
  • Possession of an active U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in capturing and decomposing system requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of radar system principles and their operational characteristics.
  • Ability to interpret technical design documents and electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB for model development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
