Ravinia Festival Association is a dynamic arts organization dedicated to creating unforgettable live music experiences for our community. As an Arts Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events, from initial planning to execution.

About the Role

This is a full-time hourly position with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends during the summer season. You will work closely with internal staff, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional event experiences.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with 1+ year of experience in event planning, catering, hotel, restaurant, or food service fields. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Google Workspace suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) or equivalent experience is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Manage event scheduling, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Develop and maintain event materials, such as promotional flyers and social media content.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of event planning software, such as Infor SCS and AudienceView.
  • Experience with project management tools, like monday.com.
What We Offer

Ravinia Festival Association offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $45,000-$50,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
