Our San Jose branch caters to the Bay Area and its neighboring regions, supplying wholesale construction materials for commercial HVAC mechanical insulation and waterproofing solutions. We also stock FRP and 3M fire-stopping materials, along with various other building products to meet your construction requirements.

As a Field Sales Representative, your role will involve business development to cultivate a contractor base in the South Bay and beyond. You will receive comprehensive support from our inside sales teams, delivery and warehouse personnel, and manufacturing representatives. Your responsibilities will include initiating customer interactions to identify sales opportunities and fostering customer relationships that encourage repeat business. You will be equipped with all necessary tools for success, including a mobile phone, laptop, company vehicle, and access to industry-leading products. Our compensation structure for field sales combines a base salary with commission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes and finalize sales transactions
  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions with clients to enhance their understanding of products and installation techniques
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable product solutions
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate closely with inside sales, warehouse staff, management, and vendors
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities

Qualifications:

  • Proactive and willing to assist in various tasks as needed
  • Strong communicators with a persuasive yet collaborative sales approach
  • Ability to adapt to changing goals and proactively build relationships with new groups
  • Capability to understand, respond quickly, and motivate others
  • Focus on meeting the needs of the customer base
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously with urgency towards achieving goals
  • Transparent in the decision-making process and accountable for risk
  • Valid driving record
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
