Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at TruWest Credit Union. As a key member of our Financial Service Center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, assisting with financial transactions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications.
  • Provide personalized service to members, responding to their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Promote our products and services to members, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.
  • Process and verify member information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Manage cash drawers, balance negotiable instruments, and perform other financial duties as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on credit union policies, procedures, and products to provide expert advice to members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a teller or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process financial transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and credit union-specific systems.

Working Conditions:
