Job Summary

We're seeking a Front Desk Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk.

About You

You have excellent communication skills, are computer literate, and possess problem-solving abilities. You're able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and process guests promptly upon arrival and departure.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by managing the flow of communication at and around the front desk.
  • Input information into computer systems.
  • Perform all guest accounting functions according to established hotel procedure.
  • Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts.

Requirements

* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Must be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, and hotel software preferred)
* Ability to operate automated phone systems
* Ability to problem solving skills; Strong guest services skills; Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
* Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
* Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
* Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
* Ability to perform intermediate math
* Knowledge of appropriate union contracts
* Ability to multi-task
