Key Responsibilities:

The Assistant Community Director will assist the Community Director in overseeing the property's operations, leasing activity, renewals, collections, financial reporting, supplies, and communications. This includes:

  • Assisting with day-to-day property operations and ensuring the needs of residents are met.
  • Touring and leasing apartments as necessary.
  • Ensuring timely rent collection and processing.
  • Performing evictions when applicable.
  • Training staff and modeling effective sales techniques.
  • Preparing and executing lease agreements.
  • Overseeing financial procedures, including verifying renter income and processing monthly payments.
  • Assisting with planning and execution of resident social functions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three years' property management experience.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proficiency with digital platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Experience with Resman property management software is an asset.
  • The ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
