Job Summary:
The Front Office Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the front office operations, ensuring seamless patient flow, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Patient Services team, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director to assess PSR training needs and develop ongoing training plans.
- Monitor and manage the staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage.
- Model exemplary customer service and perform the work of Patient Service Representatives as needed.
- Reconcile and report daily monetary collections to Finance.
- Audit processes related to patient flow and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Serve as the liaison to other areas of the clinic, ensuring that requests, changes, and concerns from other departments are addressed promptly and with superior customer service.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience working in a physicians' office or healthcare facility.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with physician billing and/or insurance preferred.
