Job Title: Patient Services Team Lead

Peoples Community Clinic is seeking an experienced Patient Services Team Lead to oversee front office operations and provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our team, you will manage the Patient Services team, collaborate with the Operations Director, and monitor and manage staffing schedules.

About the Role:

This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing the Patient Services team, collaborating with the Operations Director, monitoring and managing staffing schedules, and modeling exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Patient Services team, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to assess PSR training needs and develop ongoing training plans.
  • Monitor and manage the staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Model exemplary customer service and perform the work of Patient Service Representatives as needed.
  • Reconcile and report daily monetary collections to Finance.
  • Audit processes related to patient flow and recommend changes as appropriate.
  • Serve as the liaison to other areas of the clinic, ensuring that requests, changes, and concerns from other departments are addressed promptly and with superior customer service.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience working in a physicians' office or healthcare facility.
  • Two to four years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with physician billing and/or insurance preferred.

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
