About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations and Logistics Manager to join our team at Better Business Bureau Serving the Heart of Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various operational tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and facilitating communication across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Coordination: Assist in managing operational calendars, scheduling facilities-related activities, and ensuring timely execution of routine maintenance and event setup.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and contractors, assisting with procurement processes, scheduling work, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Process Documentation: Collaborate with senior management to create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational processes, streamlining workflows and documenting best practices.
  • Facility Management: Oversee facility-related equipment and supplies inventory, manage space utilization, and ensure areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination between internal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management, providing logistical assistance and coordinating resources to meet project goals.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Vendor Management Experience: Proven experience working with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Familiarity with Facility Management: Basic knowledge of facility management tasks, including coordinating maintenance, space management, and event setup.
  • Administrative Support: Excellent administrative skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and report preparation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
