Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Permanent Employee Relations Specialist to become part of our dynamic manufacturing team.

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who possesses a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector and is devoted to advocating for employees, their rights, and nurturing a constructive workplace atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in overseeing employee relations, conducting internal inquiries, and executing conflict resolution strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
As an Employee Relations Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Designing and executing employee relations initiatives to cultivate a positive employer-employee rapport and enhance employee morale.
  • Investigating and addressing employee relations challenges such as grievances, harassment claims, and civil rights issues.
  • Conducting exit interviews, evaluating data, and providing recommendations to management for corrective measures and ongoing improvement.
  • Managing conflict resolution processes to address employee disputes and guide the resolution towards fairness and equity.
  • Advising and supporting managers and supervisors on personnel practices, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Carrying out internal investigations as necessary, including fact-finding, documentation, and recommendations for suitable actions.
  • Educating and training employees on company policies, labor regulations, and job responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to devise strategic solutions aimed at attracting and retaining top-tier talent.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Employee Relations capacity within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in conducting internal investigations and resolving intricate employee relations matters.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor regulations, HR best practices, and industry standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR software.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is advantageous.
