Job Summary

eTeam Inc is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to fill a Med Surg position in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a travel nurse RN, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and demonstrating accountability, respect, and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and optimal patient outcomes
  • Promote continuity of care by communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate
  • Direct the work of support staff in the provision of care
  • Perform general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision
  • Assess and care for patients across the age spectrum, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
  • Current Registration and Licensure in the State as an RN; must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required; new employees certify within three (3) months after hire date
  • Current ACLS certification; new employees obtain per guidelines of the Education Course Requirements policy
  • Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness towards others
  • Ability to communicate well verbally; must work effectively as a member of a team
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment
  • Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to acute care
