At Jefferson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Associate II to enhance the patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing arrival and departure activities, obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations, and verifying insurance and referrals.
Key Responsibilities- Process patient arrival and departure activities in a timely and efficient manner
- Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for procedures
- Verify insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information
- Support the delivery of the Jefferson Experience by providing prompt and courteous treatment to all patients and visitors
- Process check-in and check-out activities, as well as scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC
- Maintain an efficient flow of practice and escalate patient and provider concerns as appropriate
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred
