Patient Services Associate

Penn Medicine is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As a Patient Services Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Arrival and Departure Activities: Assist patients with arrival and departure procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Patient Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, address concerns, and provide clear communication regarding appointments, billing, and other important information.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate patient flow, and ensure timely communication with patients and clinical staff.
- Point of Service Activities: Process patient payments, update insurance information, and perform other point-of-service activities as needed.
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, process payments, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and participate in ongoing education and training.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of medical office experience or 4+ years of customer service experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
