About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Specialist to join our Building and Construction team in Seattle and the Northwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Project Quality Management Procedures (QMP) and ensure compliance.
  • Collect, register, and organize quality documents according to company procedure.
  • Review and update documents for maintenance and quality controls.
  • Provide document control services, including scanning, downloading, and uploading documents.
  • Assess completeness and accuracy of attached documents and prepare soft copies.
  • Record files into the Document Control System and disseminate according to matrix.
  • Check promptness and approval of documents and ensure timely turnover.
  • Assess and transmit documents as needed.
  • Manage records of project drawings and correspondence to field personnel.
  • Resolve customer queries with the engineer.
  • Supervise timely distribution of documents and execution of procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 12+ years' experience in the QC/QA and Construction Materials Testing Industry preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight.
  • Thorough computer literacy and experience with document software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Procore, or other cloud-based document storage preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload with efficient time management.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Certificates required ICC soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Masonry, ICC Structural Steel and Bolting, NICET Soils and Concrete, ACI field.
