Location: Remote

As a Project Management Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with project leads and stakeholders to effectively meet the objectives of significant strategic projects.
  • Utilizing project management expertise to oversee both standard and complex initiatives, managing several projects concurrently.
  • Providing strong leadership to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the team.
  • Creating comprehensive project plans, including scope, resources, and scheduling.
  • Identifying critical paths and working with the team to address bottlenecks and optimize processes.
  • Translating strategic initiatives into clear reports tailored for various stakeholder levels.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving issues while implementing risk mitigation strategies and offering viable solutions.
  • Establishing and managing project change control processes.
  • Facilitating all project team meetings and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Communicating project status updates to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the biotech or life sciences sector; experience in cell and gene therapy is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in a STEM field, preferably in a bio-related discipline.
  • Project management certification or progress towards certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and MS Office Suite.
  • A strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferred experience with GMP manufacturing and early-phase biologics process development, as well as knowledge of viral vectors and gene editing materials.
