Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Management Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with project leads and functional teams to effectively meet objectives for significant strategic projects.
- Utilize project management expertise for both standard and complex initiatives, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide robust leadership to ensure timely execution within budget constraints.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables clearly.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, resources, and scheduling.
- Identify critical paths and work collaboratively to manage bottlenecks and optimize operations.
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear reports tailored for various stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, implementing risk mitigation strategies and offering practical solutions.
- Manage project change control effectively.
- Facilitate all project team meetings and attend relevant sessions to ensure alignment and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Communicate project status to leadership across various levels.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the biotech or life sciences sector; experience in cell and gene therapy is preferred.
- A Master's degree in a STEM field, preferably in a bio-related discipline.
- Project management certification is either achieved or in progress.
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of the biopharma industry.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GMP manufacturing and early-phase biologics process development.
- Knowledge of viral vectors and gene editing materials.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $55-$58 per hour.
