About the Role

Relativity Space is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team in the Fluid Systems department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing innovative fluid systems for our aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fluid systems, including piping, tubing, and fittings, to meet the requirements of our aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that fluid systems meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production of fluid systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of fluid systems to ensure they meet the required performance and safety standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on fluid systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
  • Experience with CAD design software, such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
