About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fluid Systems Engineer to join our Stage Fluids team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing the fluid systems that ensure reliable and efficient operation of our Terran R vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct trade studies to produce architectures and designs that satisfy system requirements
  • Sizing at the system and component level
  • Detailed fluid and thermal analyses including system performance prediction and characterization using a variety of analytical methods
  • Create tools to enhance our team's analysis capabilities and streamline workflow
  • Participate in design and manufacturing reviews
  • Own and lead test campaigns to validate system design and performance
  • Anchor models with data from test and launch
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer with a strong background in fluid dynamics and thermal analysis. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience working with fluids systems. Experience with programming languages such as Matlab, Python, or C++ is also required.
