Long Beach, California, United States Relativity Space Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our engine manufacturing department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing high-performance propulsion systems.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing manufacturing strategies for our Terran R rocket's valve components. This will involve collaborating with design engineers, test engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless integration of hardware development, manufacturing, and testing.

You will also be responsible for creating manufacturing work instructions, leading development strategies for hardware, and designing tooling and fixtures for assembly and test.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in building, manufacturing, testing, or troubleshooting hardware in a manufacturing environment.

You should have hands-on experience with hardware, experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel, and experience authoring work instructions to build complex assemblies.

Aerospace valve design or fluid system design or build experience is a plus, as is experience transitioning products from development to high volume production.

What We Offer

At Relativity Space, we offer a competitive salary and equity package, a generous PTO and sick leave policy, parental leave, an annual learning and development stipend, and more.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
