Oncology Nurse Manager

US Oncology, Inc is the largest community oncology provider in the country. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to join our team at the Arlington location. This position will support our clinical operations and patient care.
Job SummaryThis role is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients undergoing various treatments, including chemotherapy and stem cell rescue. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, including high-dose chemotherapy agents, under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Clinical Operations: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient workflows, optimize patient flow, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Education and Support: Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families on treatment options, side effects, and self-care techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably with exposure to high-dose chemotherapy and stem cell rescue.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and proficiency in basic computer skills.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
