**Job Summary**
VHC Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team. This role requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care.
**About the Role**
This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Supervise assigned personnel and ensure that they are meeting the required standards of care
- Stay up-to-date with department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to nursing practice
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
**Requirements**
- Associate's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution
- 1 year of experience in nursing/patient care, preferably in an oncology setting
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or compact state licensure in nursing
- BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS certification preferred
