$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description:

This Surgical Oncology Nurse Specialist role is a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical oncology procedures. As a Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience in an acute care setting, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in this highly specialized field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia or a Compact State.
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in surgical oncology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on the unit assignment.

You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
