Software Integration Specialist

Sabre Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team in support of the United States Navy's most sophisticated aircraft platforms. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in improving the systems used on these aircraft, ensuring they remain at the leading edge of technology.
Key Responsibilities- Work cross-functionally with developers and system administrators to familiarize yourself with system requirements and behaviors.
- Integrate system capabilities in a Red Hat environment, leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Assist developers with installation and configuration, including troubleshooting and remediation of system issues.
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues, analyzing root cause in the areas of hardware, network, and software.
- Assist with release deployment and periodic system/application patching, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functionality, meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Information Management, IT, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Three (3) years or more of Red Hat experience at an administration level.
- Security+ certification is highly desired.
- Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts, including virtualization environments, scripting, and troubleshooting software and hardware.
- Experience with PXE and ISCSI interfaces, as well as a basic understanding of the Java programming language to support Java application integration.
- Ability to work independently, be a problem solver, and have a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret clearance and be a US Citizen.
