We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Precise Systems (MD) in Patuxent River, MD. As a key member of our MANGL Integrated Product Team (IPT), you will play a crucial role in developing goals, objectives, and strategies to meet program software engineering requirements for the MANGL program products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement software upgrades and validation/verification efforts for the MANGL program.
- Participate in defining future program software upgrades and review the performance of multiple software engineering efforts.
- Contribute to the overall success of the MANGL program, particularly in the area of emerging software applications provided by the contractor.
- BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or one of the following Engineering disciplines: Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Computer Software.
- At least six (6) years of experience in an engineering position, with five (5) years of experience directly related to Naval Aviation systems and demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technology, software systems engineering, and program management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
