About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Engineer to join our team at DCS Corp. As a key member of our PMA-209 team, you will provide technical and engineering support services to integrate communications systems into Naval aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Apply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyze designs, develop, implement, test or evaluate products related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.
  • Write procedures, work instructions and design practices criteria to standardize work products.
  • Evaluate technical specifications and applicable performance requirements.
  • Recommend and prepare inputs for test plans, procedures, etc. and provide other recommendations as needed.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • BS Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or an Engineering Discipline. 4-year ABET accredited Engineering Degree preferred with at least 6 years of experience in an Engineering role.
  • Interim Secret security clearance required on Day 1.
  • 3 years of experience with Navy Test and Evaluation Planning and execution preferred.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with the Department of Defense (DOD) System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
  • Familiar with Naval Test Procedures.
  • Competent in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point.
Desired Skills
  • Desired Experience: 3 or more years of experience in Electronics Countermeasure Systems.
