About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and professional Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for new patients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and all necessary information for their appointments.

Responsibilities
  • Answering and returning all new patient incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Appropriately managing multiple incoming calls.
  • Entering all referral patients into our system.
  • Sending new patient welcome emails and required paperwork.
  • Collecting patient's insurance information prior to their scheduled appointment.
  • Triaging calls from the work queue.
  • Providing instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for examinations and procedures.
  • Confirming patient appointments.
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts as they occur.
Requirements
  • Experience with Epic preferred.
  • 2+ years of Scheduling Experience preferred.
  • Proficient in scheduling and tracking patient information.
  • Comfortable taking phone calls and managing multiple lines.
