Patient Care Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional New Patient Coordinator for our esteemed client, a leading healthcare provider in the nation. This long-term opportunity presents a chance to be the first point of contact for new patients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and all necessary information for their appointments.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls from new patients in a professional manner.
  • Manage multiple incoming calls efficiently.
  • Enter referral patients into our system accurately.
  • Send new patient welcome emails and required paperwork on time.
  • Collect patient's insurance information prior to scheduled appointments.
  • Triage calls from the work queue effectively.
  • Provide instructions to patients to ensure they are prepared for examinations and procedures.
  • Confirm patient appointments promptly.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Epic or similar systems is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of Scheduling Experience is desired.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and tracking patient information is essential.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and manage multiple lines comfortably.
