Key Responsibilities - Master the intricacies of production and operational processes. - Interface effectively with clients, oversee subcontractors, and provide guidance to team members. - Lead and manage multiple projects as necessary. - Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of specialized trades, tools, and techniques. - Execute a variety of complex and non-standard tasks. - Develop and utilize technical documentation, including controlled work packages, formal procedures, test documents, and reports. - Schedule and conduct briefings for clients and senior management. - Perform quality inspections on completed work. - Undertake additional tasks outside of specialty to fulfill installation or project requirements. Qualifications
  • High School diploma, Trade School certification, or equivalent, along with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess personal hand tools as specified by trade specialty.
  • Proficient in air hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in rebuilding and repairing various types of pumps and valves.
  • Capable of operating hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as an Aircraft and Weapons Elevator technician on CVN class vessels.
  • Relevant technical or professional certifications.
  • Previous Navy experience is advantageous.
Physical Demands Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and materials, with a minimum weight of 30 lbs. Ability to work on ladders, in extreme temperatures, aboard ships, in shipyards, and in confined spaces. Must be prepared to perform duties in high heat, humidity, noise, and dirty conditions, including working aloft or over the sides of vessels. Potential for extended periods at sea may be required. May necessitate the use of a respirator. Travel may be necessary within and outside the continental United States.
