Position Overview

McLaughlin Research Corporation is seeking multiple skilled technicians to provide essential support at a prominent naval facility. The successful candidates will utilize fundamental technical expertise to execute routine assignments in accordance with comprehensive guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate within a team to assemble, install, and operate intricate mechanical components for operational and performance evaluations.
  • Assemble or install equipment or components that necessitate basic wiring, soldering, or connections.
  • Conduct straightforward mechanical tasks or assessments, including tensile and hardness evaluations.
  • Operate and calibrate basic testing apparatus.
  • Collect and maintain specified engineering documentation, including test results and design schematics.
  • Capable of lifting items weighing up to 55 lbs. to shoulder height or above.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in assembling, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding.
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly schematics and parts lists.
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Applicants must meet eligibility criteria for a security clearance up to and including Secret level.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CAT 3 Crane & Rigging is advantageous.
