Assembler - 2nd Shift

This is a full-time hourly position scheduled Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team at Mesabi Control Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble MESABI Heat Exchangers with precision and attention to detail.
- Test heat exchangers to ensure quality and performance.
- Build crates using hand and power tools, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Install grommets using grommet guns and tubes, requiring mechanical ability and dexterity.
- Assist in training and development of team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of related work experience.
- Strong mechanical ability and experience using power tools and forklifts.
- Ability to read blueprints, operate air impacts, and use basic math skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Epicor, Ultimate software, or similar ERP systems.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, with a focus on process improvement.
