Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at L&M Radiator, Inc., a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions. As a key member of our assembly team, you will work directly with other assemblers and assembly supervisors to ensure production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble MESABI Heat Exchangers, performing a variety of tasks including pushing tubes, testing heat exchangers, and assembling crates for final product shipment.
  • Work with a variety of power tools, including drills, air impacts, and forklifts, as needed.
  • Observe, guide, and assist with training, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new team members.
  • Perform work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed, if qualified.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience
  • Strong mechanical ability and experience using power tools and forklifts, as needed
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand on concrete for 8-10 hours
  • Regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to work in high heat conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
