Skilled Production Associate/Assembler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Associate/Assembler to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling a variety of truck bodies, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly and production.
- Cut and shape materials to precise sizes using various saws, shears, and cutters.
- Assemble parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform setup and maintenance of machines as required to ensure optimal production.
- Examine finished projects for quality and defects, and perform safety and quality checks.
- Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- At least 3 years of previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in a production assembly role.
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools, and read and interpret blueprints.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working on truck bodies.
This role operates in a manufacturing plant environment, requiring regular standing, walking, and use of hands to perform tasks. The team member may be required to sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl in confined spaces.
