Position Overview:

As a Fabrication Engineer at GCR Professional Services, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our manufacturing team to enhance and implement designs related to semiconductor fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to optimize designs associated with semiconductor fabrication processes.
  • Assist in the creation and management of device processing protocols.
  • Design and develop semiconductor systems, software applications, and modules.
  • Review and generate specification documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Prototype and support the production of specialized communications electronics.
  • Engage with innovative RF electrical hardware.
  • Conduct research and experimentation with emerging technologies.
  • Develop technical specifications and comprehensive test plans.
  • Collaborate with technical authors to produce operational documentation.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills at both individual and team levels, focusing on effective issue identification and resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in semiconductor fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with circuit boards, semiconductors, and measurement instrumentation.
  • Understanding of semiconductor testing methodologies and device theory.
  • Proficient in software development.
  • Ability to produce technical design documentation.
  • Strong communication skills to relay tasks and establish agendas effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail across all aspects of work.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a strong desire for continuous learning and skill development.
  • Desirable: Experience with third to fifth generation semiconductors (e.g., BJT, PIN, SOS).
