Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our Attending Physicians to provide exceptional care to patients with hematologic and solid tumor oncology conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Attending Physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and therapies, including chemotherapy, as authorized by DFCI privileges
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in disease center staff meetings, tumor boards, and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options
Requirements
  • Masters Degree from an AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies program
  • NCCPA Certification and licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
  • Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Licenses
  • 100 hours of CME completed within each 2-year period of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of qualifying professional Physician Assistant experience
  • Experience working in an ambulatory care setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
