We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced, ambulatory gastroenterology practice at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our division.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients, order tests and procedures, and follow up on results to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and patient care coordinators, to provide comprehensive care to patients with various GI conditions.
- Prescribe medications as needed and provide patient education to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with our research team to advance our understanding of GI disorders and develop new treatments.
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ambulatory GI practice, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
