Under the guidance of the Guest Services Supervisor, the Logistics Support Specialist plays a vital role in the operational coordination of various promotional activities and events. This position is essential in ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organizes staging and product distribution for events, assisting with the unloading and delivery of products to designated areas.
2. Prepares for events by managing requests and supply orders, gathering materials, packing items, and confirming inventory levels. Communicates any discrepancies in vendor supplies to management without delay.
3. Maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collects and prepares unused pallets for recycling.
4. Develops and optimizes delivery routes to enhance efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
5. Adheres to departmental and organizational health and safety policies at all times. Responsible for maintaining a hazard-free work area and reporting any safety violations or property damage.
6. Conducts minor preventive maintenance on departmental equipment as needed.
7. Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned to support the effective operation of the department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in warehouse operations, customer service, or hospitality is required, with previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) is required.
- Depending on the requirements of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, obtaining and maintaining a gaming license may be necessary.
