Job Summary:

Think Together is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to manage daily staffing for after-school programs at schools within our regions and other districts with Think Together programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with receptionist-operated central telephone systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily staffing for after-school programs, including assigning substitute program leaders to sites and handling various schedules and absence reports.
  • Independently handle various aspects of substitute staffing to meet program objectives and staffing parameters.
  • Responsible for regional office operations, including purchasing and facilities management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming callers and visitors, and providing a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Assist with clerical or administrative tasks and projects as requested or assigned.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, create and maintain training schedules, and coordinate facilities management, purchasing, and supplies.
  • Implement processes to ensure smooth functioning of the reception area and train back-up receptionists as needed.
  • Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in student, staff, and management matters.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of prior administrative support role experience.
  • High school diploma required; two-year minimum college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience with educational settings and operations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to pass Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis Test.

Compensation:

$21.50 hourly. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
