Nursing Resident Position at Cleveland Clinic

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing residency program. As a nursing resident, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, preparing patient care plans, and performing thorough bedside daily rounds.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Comply with established hospital/department personnel policies.
- Use communication strategies in order to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Document in patient's medical record according to established guidelines.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
- Other certifications may be required based on unit assignment.
