Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Course Operations Assistant. As a key member of our pro-shop team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a point of sale system, and assisting with various retail responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to golfers and patrons, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a point of sale system to process customer transactions, including credit card and gift card payments, refunds, returns, and rain checks.
  • Retail Responsibilities: Restock merchandise, maintain inventory levels, and assist with visual merchandising to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily tasks and objectives, including cart attendant and outside services employees.
Requirements
  • Availability: Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Uniform and Appearance: Wear a staff polo, golf branded apparel, and khaki or dress/golf pants, golf skirts or dresses, and golf joggers.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand for 6-8 hours and walk on the golf course.
