POSITION TITLE: On-Course Service Staff

DEPARTMENT: Golf Operations

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal

PAY GRADE: $10-$15 PER HOUR

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The On-Course Service Staff collaborates closely with the starters and professional team to ensure the efficient operation of the golf course on a daily basis. Responsibilities include managing the pace of play, maintaining tee boxes and fairways, cleaning up litter, setting up and breaking down tournaments, and assisting outside services as well as pro-shop starters with their daily functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily pace of play on the course.
  • Utilize GPS tracking systems to assist groups in maintaining speed.
  • Repair divots on tee boxes and fairways as necessary.
  • Support pro-shop and cart attendants with range duties, including:
    • Sand and seed the driving range.
    • Collect balls from the driving range.
    • Update yardage markers.
    • Adjust dividers and stands.
  • Collect trash and debris from the golf course.
  • Ensure restrooms on the course are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
  • Empty course garbage bins as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness of all working areas.
  • Detail the on-course service cart each shift for a professional appearance.
  • Assist with tournament setup and teardown.
  • Support pro shop operations when required.
  • Help with cart attendant responsibilities as needed.
  • Follow procedures for opening and closing cart and range operations.
  • Inspect golf carts for cleanliness and condition.
  • Assist in maintaining cart cleanliness, supplies, and fueling, ensuring uniform usage across the fleet.
  • Check and replenish stock in designated areas throughout the shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Uniform requirements include a staff-provided t-shirt or polo.
  • Acceptable attire includes khaki shorts or jeans; no cutoffs, basketball shorts, leggings, or sweatpants.
  • Branded headwear is permitted.
  • Minimum age of 18 with a valid driver's license.
  • A positive attitude is essential for success in this role.

This is a paid position that requires active engagement in fulfilling the essential functions of the role during shifts.
