Position: Administrative Coordinator
Reporting to: Dr. Ameya Save
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the primary administrative support for Dr. Save's practice. This role involves managing daily operations and fostering an environment of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with patients and their families in a courteous and empathetic manner, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Handle incoming calls and make outbound communications to patients, physicians, and staff.
- Facilitate patient check-out and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Coordinate surgical scheduling and new patient clinic appointments.
- Oversee the physician's professional calendar.
- Act as a liaison between the office and various hospital departments.
- Manage front-end payment collections and insurance authorizations.
- Train and supervise junior staff members within the physician's office.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance office operations.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant experience in a physician's office may substitute for formal education.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to convey messages accurately.
- Capability to develop practical solutions independently in a dynamic environment while appropriately escalating patient care issues.
- Commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and going above and beyond for critical patient needs.
- Adherence to patient privacy standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to learn new software tools and systems as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and billing/insurance processes is advantageous; quick learning and application of new information is essential.

Pay Range - Minimum: USD $32.40/Hr.
Pay Range - Maximum: USD $42.86/Hr.
