Job Summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will provide exceptional service to retail and installer customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting merchandise, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Support store management in achieving sales and customer service goals.
  • Process transactions, maintain cash handling, and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Perform various operational tasks, including freight receipt, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance.
  • Operate store test equipment and perform in-store services for customers, where permitted by state and local laws.
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries, meeting company driving eligibility requirements.
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and weatherly index systems is a plus.
  • ASE certification is desired.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly valued.
