Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities to the highest standards
  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and ensure proper disposal
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms to ensure a high level of hygiene
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and polished appearance
  • Operate basic cleaning equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
  • Notify supervisors of any unsafe conditions, major repairs, or abnormal conditions
  • Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of janitorial or housekeeping experience (preferred but not required)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Auto Insurance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of custodial and care practices
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals
  • Understanding of standard cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies used in office and commercial cleanings
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, balance, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work under pressure for long periods

Salary

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
