**Position Overview at SESI Schools**

As an **Individual Support Specialist**, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and development of students with unique needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

As a member of our educational team, you will:
  • Enhance student potential while developing your own skills by collaborating with educators to provide tailored support to small groups of students.
  • Experience the fulfillment of monitoring student behavior, tracking educational achievements, and maintaining communication with families.
  • Work with a diverse student population from various backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and equitable support.
  • Facilitate small group instruction while implementing our academic support model.
  • Assist teachers in delivering personalized behavioral and academic support, including conducting assessments.
  • Reinforce learning by assigning relevant tasks and providing one-on-one tutorials based on data-driven insights.
  • Support teachers during large group activities and assist with grading and independent study tasks.
  • Utilize effective behavior management strategies and interventions.
  • Implement crisis management techniques to ensure a safe environment for all students.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of daily educational plans.
  • Document and track student progress towards their academic and personal goals.
  • Supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and service providers to address the diverse needs of students.
