The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Baking Support Specialist collaborates with the Head Baker to ensure that cakes of exceptional quality are consistently produced for our customers and contributes to outstanding service by meeting production requirements. Adhering to strict proprietary recipes, NbC production techniques, and food safety protocols, the Baking Support Specialist assists the Head Baker in the repetitive baking process for our delectable cakes available in a variety of flavors and sizes. The Baking Support Specialist embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly washes, rinses, and sanitizes all baking equipment, utensils, and tools in a timely manner while adhering to all NbC standards.
  • Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision to achieve productivity targets.
  • Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
  • Assists the Head Baker in accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, placing cake pans into a hot oven, and monitoring the baking process.
  • Supports the Head Baker with daily baking and production workflows.
  • Ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, maintains product rotation standards, and keeps baking and refrigeration logs.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation, assisting the Head Baker to ensure all baking supplies are adequately prepared for the next shift.
  • Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • While no formal education or work experience is required, previous experience as a Baking Support Specialist or in another operational support role in a bakery, restaurant, or foodservice environment is advantageous.
Work Availability:

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.
